I called today several times at 10am to order for a pick up order, no one ever answered. I got there and I ordered the Island Latte, I asked if hot or cold better…the cashier just shrugged. The latte was just okay, not much flavor or coffee.
$5.41, which I'm happy to pay for a tasty cold brew. But the barista left over an inch of a gap from the top because I requested light ice and light cream. He said it's store policy to measure by weight, but why not charge for the drink once the cup's filled? That weight to price is also a bit hard to tot out. I had maybe two measuring cup's worth of coffee for five bucks. It is good, but not that good.
Man they have some good coffee here!!
The barista, Ashley, was a fantastically helpful and kind worker and was very good at answering all my questions and recommending what's good. Great shop, and I intend to stop by again.
The operator seemed a bit down but the berry matcha drink was the best I ever had. I’ll be back, for no other reason than you should t be unhappy at delivering such fantastic drinks. Also, Lucas Carribean grill is thinking of opening a coffee shop up fromt; perhaps you can move locations
My Cream Americano was delicious! I went today and there was one barista working by herself. There was a long line of customers and she gave everyone polite and speedy service! 😊 will definitely be coming back
Wish it was clearer on google maps that location was inside HEB; not a quick easy stop when store is slammed with shoppers; the iced latte tasted fine; just not a huge fan of environment
I didn’t get the Barista name , but she really knows her stuff will be back for sure
Ron gave a very good thai tea. Good drink. 10/10
I didn't feel like having the drip coffee they had when I went so I bought a bag of Costa Rica (oak barrel aged whiskey and dark cherry) and it was super disappointing. I tried drip, pour over, French press, Chemex, moka, Keurig and experimented with the grind as well to get maximum extraction using a 1:18 / 1:20 ratio and I could just not get any of the notes from this coffee. The bag said it was roasted a week earlier but I just didn't get that freshly roasted aroma. It was also a bit pricey for locally roasted coffee ($26 plus tax). I'm all for supporting local shops but I can get far superior coffee (small farm batch, anaerobic , geisha coffees rated 92 and above) roasted to order online from far superior suppliers for less than $25 delivered to my door. Well, at least I gave this place a shot...
I'm not sure this is actually here because I never could find it there's no sign for any coffee shop anywhere near this HEB.
Best coffee in the area, Luce’s spanish latte is my absolute favorite!! It’s inside an H‑E‑B, so prepare to shop or just take to go. The coffee is worth it.
Simon made me coffee. was very POGGERS. eggcelent customer service
Great service! Loved the tall barista named Ron! They gave us excellent latte art, it’s a shame I didn’t get a picture of it. 10/10 would drive back again. They tell great stories. Wonderful customer service.
Best coffee in this side of town!!!! Staff is very friendly.
Great experience every time I stop here! I love getting the Iced Island Latte, it has a toasted coconut taste!
