The food was great and service was amazing

Such a disappointing pub, definitely not run well. Last time I went there were 3 servers, yet we waited at our table for 45 minutes before having to grab one and ask to serve us, despite the place barely being half full. We then received our food after another 45 minutes, looking like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 10. Service is the worst I have ever seen. Food and drink are decent, specials are good deals.

Student-run restaurant with variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Many dishes can be easily converted to vegetarian/ vegan ones. They have both bar and non-bar foods. The service is hit or miss depending on the person serving. There is no natural light but they have a nice patio during summer months. it is currently (end of 2023) the only restaurant on campus.

It's an amazing place for bands to perform live, smaller venue but great sound quality. Staff is usually friendly for every event. Lots of drink options. Only worst part of all, is finding a parking spot anywhere near the building, it's on campus I understand, but it'd be nice to have a parking lot just for these events.

I am leaving this review in the hopes louis gets better. It's a campus bar that really tries it's best to not be a student bar. They are almost always closed when you want to go and they have cemented this assumption in almost everyone's mind that i know. Currently their food and drinks are expensive, although im not sure if that's unexpected at this point with restaurants/bars. All i want is a place on campus students can arrange to go hang out. Louis isnt it. They have been getting better in terms of staying open and having events during the week that doesnt kick everyone out, but it is brutal that they dont even leave sections of the bar open for students when they're having an exclusive event. Louis has built a tradition of being unavailable. It will take a awhole lot to change that for people. I hope they do it though. Edit: i updated my review from 1 star to 2 because i do like the place, it's just can be so hard to coordinate with fellow students and groups for drinks there. Especially on friday.

I recently saw a pu k show here and it was just perfect size. Not too big, just right to get up close for a couple hundred people. I ha e it a 3 cause limited dri k selection, o erpriced and door staff didn't really do much other than stamps. Where are the free concert posters louis?
