Good food

Food is pretty good portion size ok .

4⭐️ My husband is the L & L fanatic. He lived in Hawaii and loves their food. I’ve tried it multiple times, there were about 3-4 locations in San Diego, and 1 location by where we used to live in Anaheim. It’s not bad food, but I have never in my life craved it ‍♀️ Heads up, they don’t have mini plates anymore. This was the regular, and it was A LOT of food, so my husband had leftovers. He liked his food and got his Hawaiian bbq fix. Would I drive almost an hour to get it again, absolutely not. But if you’ve never had it before, and you’re in the area, I would recommend trying it. It is good food.

The food was good, but my wife and i ordered two plates for lunch, and it took us 40 minutes to get it. There were maybe 6 people total in the entire restaurant, and at least 3 before us went up before us to ask where their food was. Shouldnt take 40 minutes to get 2 lunch plates especially when it wasnt busy at all.

I went to the “ L&L Hawaiian Barbecue “ for dinner with some friends. The counter girl was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The food was very close to authentic and close to what I’m used to being from Waipahu. The only reason for the 4 stars ✨ Is due to the fact that they didn’t have several menu items available. I’m visiting from out of state and what I really wanted was unavailable. Thanks for reading my review. A helpful thumbs up would let me know others read these comments. Mahalo. Just amazing food. Lived in Hawaii and was a huge fan then. UPDATE: The food here is no longer Hawaiian. They started out great by sending their employees to Hawaii and learn proper cooking. Im guessing those employees are gone now and they are just hiring folks to cook up whatever. Ive been back twice and was not good. I even asked if they could leave out the tuna in the mac salad because im allergic to fish, nope both times they said no. In Hawaii they did it with a smile. Shame….

David and Ivory were professional and courtesy will definitely be back because of them.
