Little India Restaurant in Yuba City, CA, is more than just a dining establishment; it's an authentic culinary journey that captures the heart of Punjab. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed, and here's why: First and foremost, Balwinder, the manager, is truly amazing. His dedication to providing a memorable dining experience is evident in every detail, and Salman, our waiter, added an extra layer of excellence with his attentive service. Together, they form a dynamic duo that ensures guests feel right at home. This restaurant, owned by a fantastic local Punjabi family, exudes the charm of a dhaba back in Punjab. The ambiance is warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for an authentic dining experience. Now, let's talk about the stars of the show—the food! The garlic naan and Aloo Mattar are nothing short of delightful. Each bite is a burst of authentic flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Punjab. The service is not only friendly but impressively quick, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. What makes Little India stand out is not just the delicious food and charming ambiance but also the reasonable prices. It was my first here and the person at the counter was super helpful and nice. I ordered butter chicken (mild) and rice, some sweets (I don't know the names to be honest but all of them were definitely delicious!). The wait wasn't long (I ordered take out) and the garlic naan was sooo delicious! We will be back for sure to try more and more food.
I went there and no one came to get order. No one even offer water on the table. Ridiculous!!! They said they are busy because of catering; you can hiring more staff atleast take care of your customers who are at the restaurant. Don't go there at all!!!!!!!! I would rather recommend going to Bombay Lounge. I hate this restaurant!!!! Owners can do better than that.
Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Got the grill combo, which came out sizzling and aromatic. Incredible quality and a very reasonable price! I’m only out here a couple days for business but plan on coming back each year and will definitely come to this spot every time!
