Food was great with reasonable prices. Also open later then most places in Nanaimo.
I have ordered from here a few times the first time we ordered a pizza and the dough was raw in the middle. We called and told them we received an uncooked pizza and they made us out to be the bad guy. I just ordered two pastas for takeout and one of them was packed fully as it usually is but the other was not even half full and the size of a kids meal. I called to inform them they must have had an issue with their scale when they weighed this pasta and she said there couldn’t have been an error. $18 for 1 cup of cooked pasta… Then she said there is a note on my phone number that we complain a lot!? Seriously…. ya I complained once before because we received an UNCOOKED pizza. Needless to say their manager is useless and they have no sense of customer service and I will definitely NOT ever be back. It’s more trouble than it’s worth for average food.
Not an option at 9:15 on a wenesday to dine in.

In the words of Randy Jackson, it’s a no for me dawg. This was by far the worst experience i have ever had with a restaurant. It was my first night living in Nanaimo and was so excited to see what Nanaimo had to offer. Unfortunately, my first restaurant experience was the worst. I had ordered a Caesar salad with chicken, which included JUST romaine in my take out, no parm, no croutons. Just romaine. The chicken was little tiny chopped “chicken” covered in franks red hot sauce. Was it a full chicken breast? No idea. Was it fresh chicken? Definitely not. Could it pass for canned chicken? Definitely. We also ordered lasagna, which was watery and bland. I would refer you to Costco for better lasagna. I also ordered drinks to go, which they forgot. My door dash driver had to go back and ask for them. Wish I had a better rememberable experience. EDIT: thank you for bumping my review up by replying with a stupid comment :) I hope you enjoy your free time once your restaurant shuts down for not only horrible food but horrible service
Wow the owner wont even respond in a professional manner. You should be asking what you could do to make your paying customers next experience better, not Harass your reviewers for giving their honest opinions about your food and services. Nanaimo's food industries failing and i'm happy I moved
This place is just amazing, went here a couple times and every time I went the food was great and the workers were really nice.
I've been going here forever; never had a problem.. tonight was a different story. We had food delivered and it was not edible. The pasta was so dry and seemed as if it had been sitting for hours before being reheated and sent to us. I called the restaurant to be told by the young cashier that the kitchen told her to tell me that I can take it up with skip the dishes for a refund but there was nothing they would do. When I said that all I wanted was food I could eat for dinner as it was mother's day and my husband had thoughtfully tried to save me the effort of cooking, She told me that the manager was "too busy to talk to me, sorry" and then hangs up on me. Once I drove there everyone was very quick to avoid a scene( which I did not plan on making, I was just hungry) and remade my dinner with zero issues. No refund was offered, no apologies on the service quality or the food quality though. This poor cashier is being taught how to act under stress and it will do absolutely nothing for her in the future at any other job. I'm disappointed in this locations ability to handle the dinner rush and their so obvious lack of respect for a paying customer. How would you feel if it was your dinner after a long day at work? If someone brings an issue up to you atleast have the decency to hear them and try to solve the problem they went out of their way to bring to your attention. Worst customer service experience I've had in a long time, and as a manager myself I feel for the staff being "taught" how to deal with the public. Won't be back. ***Edited to add the below as after 3 years (lol) the owner sent a response. As I stated, no, I did not ask for a refund from skip or the restaurant, nor did I make a scene, all I wanted was food that I could actually eat. But I very much appreciate that you're looking to avoid any and all wrong doing to blame it on me instead. That's fine. Obviously this business hasn't changed✌️**
