I ordered the food and not only was it poor quality it was definitely not worthy of being called bao, it was cold and sickly
Birthday tea treat ruined, visited tonight and only enough chicken left for one bao, then another bao(beef) missing ingredients. The katsu fries were just plain chips and chip shop curry sauce with no other toppings. I get that you may have run out of crispy onions and sesame seeds but nothing was said just the bag handed over. Will stick to the one on the outskirts of town never hand a problem with any orders there. Such a shame as the other baos were lovely as always.
Bao-lieve it or not, it was amazing haha! We opted for the chicken bao, and it was an absolute explosion of taste! The fluffy bao itself was perfect - soft and pillowy, yet holding everything together nicely. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the combination of sauces and toppings was just divine. Fries were the perfect complement to the bao and the portion size was ideal for sharing!
Excellent options for bao {mini sandwiches), noodles, and sides. Great for a meal or snack qhile enjoying a draft beer from North Brewery.
Very accommodating with me and my fussy husband making little changes. Food was incredible, the beef brisket bao was perhaps the best thing I've ever eaten.
At first I was going to grumble about the waiting times but when we did get our food, we understood why it took a while. The lobster and pork shoulder bao dogs were so intricately done and perfectly cooked and the dutty loaded fries were amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a perfect meal for just £16 per person. Thank you for a fantastic experience!!! We will be back!
Huge fan, but literally never chicken-available. Considering the menu is mainly chicken it’s a bit strange. Don’t you guys order enough? Just disappointed as this is not the first (or last) time.
gorgeous gorgeous food everything was super tasty!!! bao buns were great & i’d recommend the katsu curry one. the fries are a great deal for the portion and the gyoza are also very nice, but the flavour of them was outshone by the delightful sweet chilli sauce drizzled all over the top it’s a nice space too, probably best in warm weather so that outdoor seating can be enjoyed but it was nice enough. all in all great value for money and i would defo recommend!! Vegetarian options: chips, gyoza, bao buns all had veggie options Wheelchair accessibility: there was no step in but all indoor seating is stools so that would not be wheelchair appropriate, seats outside are normal height
