Ordered the salmon poke bowl, with Leo as my cashier. Absolutely delicious, one of the best poke bowls I've had in a while. It was a great post meal workout after running along the Marina. They have a cashew sesame sauce that blends perfectly with the textures of the veggies, crispies, and rice. Will definitely be back to order more!
I had high expectations for this place given the high rating, but I was disappointed by my experience. The base price of the drinks seems reasonable starting at around $5, but once you add any customizations, it quickly increases in price. For 1 large fruit tea with boba and a little less sugar, it cost me $11 after tax and tip. That's way too much. I went through with my order since I was already there and had wanted to try Lilikoi for a long time but just hadn't gotten around to it. However, I wished I hadn't as soon as I tasted my drink. It was watered down and barely had any passion fruit flavour. I've gotten way better tea for much less at other places. It's so unfortunate about the quality of the overpriced drink because this place is otherwise very cute and welcoming. It just didn't deliver.
Dietary restrictions: Lactose intolerant option: can substitute oat milk for regular milk.
Drinks were average but decor was instagram worthy. They sold macarons (average) and mochi donuts (good).
My bottle bursted open after shaking it to mix all the flavors in. I was left with barely any Boba and a 8 dollar dent in my wallet. Which is extremely expensive for Boba. Also it tasted horrible, we’re talking, way to sweat even though I got the 25% sugar. Also, the remaining “Tapioca Pearls” that they said they were, were 100% not tapioca pearls. The pearls tasted extremely awful, kind of like raisins. Would definitely not recommend. Worst boba place ever. I recommend Mr. and Mrs. Teahouse on Clement St.
The worst poke bowl I have had in the Bay Area. $18 before tax and fees gets you a "large" that would be a small or kids size anywhere else, plus EVERY SINGLE side and garnish costs extra. Don't be fooled by the product pictures, unless you pay for extras, all you get is fish and rice with their overpowering sauce that tastes like a bad version of the salad dressing from Japanese restaurants. The black tea boba was okay - neither particularly bad nor noteworthy.
Delicious! Interesting combinations of flavors that really work! And we were happy to find a boba shop open so late- we didn't believe it was actually still open until we got there.
