Glad I tried it! Only took a star off because it took about 15 minutes for a server to come over despite there only being a few customers in the whole restaurant. Shrimp and grits and crab dip flatbread were both great!

Amazing service by Michael at the bar. Food was terrific. Bar service was second to NONE.

Always heard great things about Liberty Oak. My wife and I went on a Saturday night as a date night. The entrance and bar are nice, but once you get into the main dining area, it looks extremely outdated and dirty. The bathrooms were also very dirty as well. We both ordered the vegetarian option, which was a tortellini pesto pasta (no surprise, it was pasta). There was so much salt that we felt like we needed a blood pressure pill. Now we love spicy food and well seasoned food, but it tasted like someone accidently spilled salt in it. The garden salad was, ehh, and the ranch they made tasted sweet and weird. The side Cesar salad was good, and I really like the sauted Brussel sprouts side as well. Overall, we paid $108 with a $22 tip. It was not worth $130 for a subpar meal. Don't recommend it. There are plenty of other great restraunts close to downtown Greensboro to go to instead of Liberty Oak. Vegetarian options: Only one, which was called "vegetarian option," was a tortellini pesto pasta. It was way too salty. Kid-friendliness: Don't bring kids.

The bartender, Michael, made the best chocolate martini I have ever had! The perfect end to a wonderful meal. We came for dinner, were seated fairly promptly. The service was great and the food was very tasty. Quite impressive for a Friday evening just before Christmas.

I went for lunch. I had the Oak burger, which was dry and not great . The crab dip was served on a whole pita and while tasty was a smaller portion.

Servers was best thing about my experience. The food was overpriced and mediocre, I won't be returning.

One of the besting dining options in Greensboro. Great staff, Great food. Lunch specials are terrific.
