Let Loose - Soft Play And Cafe

We've been here a few times. It's a fairly nice soft play with all the equipment well maintained, and actually quite a good offer for both under 3's in the toddler section and over 3's on the main frame. My lg is 3 and so get's the benefit of using both. The main frame has the most fun normal slide out of any soft play, because the curvy nature of the decent gives great feedback as you descend and always leaves my LG laughing and smiling. The reason I wanted to review was about the food/cafe offer. It's the first time we ate here and the chicken ceasar salad I had was the best I would expect considering that's not why we're here. It was packed with proper chicken breast (not pre-packaged), lovely fresh made croutons and lashings of sauce. My daughter's cheese toastie was also quite nice and the fact it comes with carrots and cucumber is a nice touch for children's sandwiches balancing the diet a little better than when they come with nothing, or crisps. Also at 11am on a school day we almost had the run of the place, which my LG does love.

Staff were lovely and friendly. We went at 1pm and took 2 under ones and the place was very chilled. Food was lovely and great coffees. We will return. :)

Had tea here for Grandsons Birthday. As always the staff, Zainab and Lucy were so helpful and obliging. Just when I thought customer service had gone! These prove it does still exist. Thank you, both of you.

Great place kids always have fun and amazing food! Definitely worth a visit !

Staff were amazing today. Prices are high so factor this in when you go. Could do with more lighting. Children enjoyed themselves.. Will visit again.

We LOVE let loose. It’s always clean and the staff go above and beyond to make it fun and enjoyable. We’ve just enjoyed “tasty Tuesday” where the children all got to taste ice cream and smoothies! On other occasions they’ve enjoyed a disco with bubbles, meeting paw patrol characters and story time with Peppa pig. The food is lovely too - we always enjoy the pizza!

Edited Review I was disappointed when I Booked Let Loose to take my twin granddaughters as they have visited previously with parents and other family members, I booked for 11.30am so they could have lunch, as been given good reviews, unfortunately for me, I was totally’’ripped Off’ by purchasing drinks prior to lunch, the girls choose innocent smoothies, I totally expect to pay a premium, but I certainly don’t expect to be ripped off, all other drinks were reasonably priced, but the smoothies were in the fridge on the counter without a price, so £8 for 3 drinks was quite a surprise, obviously the staff on the counter don’t set prices this is a management decision , there should be a large price sticker on the fridge warning that these drinks are being marketed at £3 each, so you can make an informed decision before getting to the till, I’m not the sort of grandma that would say put the drinks back, after being presented with the cost at the till, highly recommend putting a price sticker on the fridge so that people happy to pay the extortionate price can, but the rest of us can give them a miss !!! I did mention to the staff on the till I felt this was extortionate, but did not escalate this to management, however when the management were made aware, they immediately made steps to address this, they agreed that the pricing needed reviewing, and clearly displayed, and advised me that they would be looking into more streamlining of their pricing of their products , in order that there wouldn’t be any future disappointments at the till, as I said previously all other products were reasonably priced, and the venue was clean, well maintained, and lots of fun for the children, all the staff I encountered were exceptionally pleasant and friendly. I was very pleasantly surprised that they dealt so promptly with my complaint in such a positive manner.

If you have a special needs kid, do not bring here. Our child who has down syndrome pulled another child's hair , hands up totally wrong ,but the way we were spoken to by staff was outrageous. Would never go back to be treated like that again, and I would advise other parents with children that have special needs to stay clear.

My daughter had her 5th birthday party here yesterday and it was brilliant. All the kids really enjoyed it, the food was good, our party hostess Courtney was great. She was really helpful and kept us all organised! Thank you

I visited this establishment a number of weeks ago with my daughter and granddaughter. First impressions were ok then it all went down hill from there. I witnessed the manageress speaking no!!! Let’s say Shouting at a member of staff. This altercation was taking place and witnessed by all the parent's and children alike. The staff member was clearly shook up and upset and in tears. Surely this kind of behaviour is not befitting of a manager who should surely have the background training of when and where the undertaking of such a delicate situation could take place. May I suggest IF this aggressive and abusive attitude is to be encouraged by owners of the company at Let Loose, then a report must be filed against the manager and her position put under acute review. As a CEO of a company myself I would be taking this matter into an office and dealing with it privately and not on the floor in front of all the customers. The poor girl being verbally abused dealt with this situation with such dignity under the circumstances and if she were my child I would have reported this abusive attack to the highest possible ranking person and demanding the termination of the manageress. On another note the manageress clearly has an affectionate side as we witnessed her overly affectionate and highly inappropriate attention to another female staff member. Not exactly the kind of behaviour I would want to subject my children and grand child to again in the future. Will we never return to this place and I will encourage other parents and grandparents to do the same.
