I travel a lot and this is my favorite restaurant of all time.
The food is not fresh and overpriced
Parking: Many different places to park
The food here is consistently good with a variety of options, and they offer a generous sauce/toppings bar to customize the flavor of your hot pot. Theres also a bubble tea place in the same building, so it's nice to get afterwards as a dessert. The only real major issue was the last time we went, service was incredibly slow (45+ minutes to receive some preprepared ingredients and the soup base), and it was not very busy. Usually it doesn't take as long, so maybe just a one-time issue. Also, you can request a specific spice level; they're generally less spicy than you'd expect, so I'd recommend going a level higher than what you would generally get. Parking: Parking is in Dinkytown, so finding parking can be a bit difficult/chaotic when it's busy. Also, you will need to pay for parking.
This restaurant is a must go to when I come back home to the city! —> I love the individual pots & the wide variety of soups & toppings! —> The prices for the toppings are well-priced, in my opinion. —> They also have a sauce bar! it’s definitely a family favorite. What we got: Bases: • Tom Yum x2 • Valentine pot (split pot; you can choose 2 bases) Toppings: • beef filet • chinese broccoli • fish ball • quail egg • enoki mushroom • udon noodles • vermicilli noodles • shrimp PS: Kung Fu Boba is also inside the restaurant so it’s a good place to stop for dessert!!
Food is good make sure to eat slowly as the soup gets hot and I will definitely burn ur mouth
