Phenomenal food, ambiance, and service.
Good experience and variety of food
Came here for dinner. The french onion soup was good, so were the fries
Pork chop & IPA beer, very nice!
Love meeting friends and family at Santana Row, but especially at Left Bank. We love the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the option to eat outside on a nice day.
This was delicious! We had oysters, escargot, the heirloom tomato salad, the beef bourginion, steak frites, and the Rocky Jr half chicken. Fresh, amazing, delicious!
We decided to dine at this restaurant because they welcome dogs. When our server came to take our order, she was not comfortable with my golden doodle puppy - unsure why. Neighboring patrons were delighted with his well mannered disposition. That set me off!
When the appetizers arrived, it was not to our liking. That’s just our opinion. Others might love it but, it was not up to par with our culinary expectations. Consequently, we decided not to order our dinner here and went elsewhere.
This is not your typical French restaurant that I’m used to. Just my opinion.
Update: Even more cost-cutting. They changed the bread, compote is cheapened, etc. Please just keep your formerly excellent food the same and charge more.
The food is suffering too much from cost controls. For example, my family’s favorite, the French toast, no longer comes with real maple syrup (it is clearly corn syrup—can’t fool a Canadian). There is less whipped cream and sometimes there is less compote. I appreciate that they're trying to keep prices down (though the misleadingly named “living wage surcharge” keeps rising)—but I would rather pay more to get the formerly excellent “real thing,” and just eat there less often.
Came here for dinner with a friend to experience French cuisine and was impressed with the ambience and the selection of dishes offered. Top marks for the cheese fondue and the crème burlee.
Pricey but Nicy, we had the pork chop, mushroom ravioli an duck in memory of Eric
