Godega Taos is open! Fans of LeeCooks Church rejoice! Great space, great service, great art, shelves/fridges with minimal grocery items and, most glorious of all: delicious menu food. Thank you Dorothy and Lee for offering yet another distinct gem to our community. Sipped on healing Osha Cider as I walked home which was divine. I just wiped my mouth a final time after the wonderful brisket sandwich with "spicy red sauce" (I should have paid closer attention to the official description of the sauce for reviewing here - I blame after-work fatigue. Sooo goood). Looking forward to future visits. May this new pop-up LCC incarnation yield many (more) happy returns.

The food is incredible and the shop vibes are out of this worrrld ✨ I had the best ceasar salad with CORNBREAD croutons & a delicious sandwich. You can tell the food is made with love.

Lee CHURCH catered our wedding at Hotel Luna Mystica for 100 guests, and my wife and I could not recommend them more! The food was absolutely incredible, and so are they. We loved working with them, and our guests could not stop raving about the food all night! They handled both the cocktail hour and dinner, delivering each at different times to ensure everything was fresh. Every dish was amazing, and you could taste the love and care that went into preparing the food. For the cocktail hour, the cajun shrimp skewers and caprese skewers were a hit. For dinner, we can't emphasize enough how delicious the brisket, jerk chicken, BBQ Cauliflower, and the cornbread were. Guests kept saying how tender the brisket was and the jalapeño jelly is a must! The portion sizes per guest were spot on. We ordered a bit extra to allow for seconds and late-night snacks, which worked out great. We recommend having to-go boxes on hand for any leftovers when they come to pick up their catering equipment. Their equipment was also beautifully presented. We used American Tent Rentals for plates, cutlery, tables, and linens. Despite not living in Taos, they were patient and thorough in working with us to ensure a seamless wedding day. They were outstanding in their communication, reliability, timeliness, kindness, generosity, and flexibility. Choosing to work with them not only guarantees the best food but also an exceptional experience thanks to the wonderful individuals they are. Thank you Lee and Dorothy!!

I had the pleasure of sampling the jerk watermelon at The Godega/Church the other week, and I can't stop thinking about it. The jerk watermelon is outstanding, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and Dorothy is so kind and friendly. The jerk watermelon dish that I sampled in a to-go order is a wonderful blend of flavor, texture, and aroma. The jerk spices pervade every bite of the watermelon, which can be eaten by itself or, as I did, used as the main flavoring in a summer salad of corn, zucchini, cilantro, scallions, etc. It has a medium heat that lingers on the tongue without overpowering the other ingredients. Even more impressive is the texture, which has the bite of a fresh watermelon while being tender and succulent. Finally, the aroma is heavenly. It filled my kitchen the entire evening, which only made me want more. I'll be heading back to The Godega/Church soon to satisfy my craving. Thanks Dorothy!

Excellent food and service. Been there four times. Highly recommend. Special of fried chicken and waffles was deelish. Their homemade giant monster biscuits and gravy are outstanding. Brisket and eggs very tasty. Taos is lucky to have this new restaurant.

Amazing food, awesome staff! We hired these great folks to cater and serve our intimate reception in Taos and we all loved the food and their wonderful energy! We spent months changing our minds on the menu and they were very kind throughout the whole process, keeping in touch and working with our needs. Lee (the chef) did an amazing job with the food and was super nice and accommodating while serving us. The cornbread was so good that there was a debate as to who could take it home, the shrimp toast was a group favorite as well... gone before I could get to them, luckily my brand new partner saved one for me. I loved the brisket, our veg folks loved the BBQ cauliflower steak… it was all so good! We were honored to have Lee as one of our servers and everyone was so satisfied that we all started clapping for Lee (I know that sounds fake… I promise you it was real). Yup it lives up to the hype. The salad was delicious, fresh dressing so zesty and fluffy. The hibiscus iced tea ice cream float came with an EDIBLE STRAW! There was also good music playing and other folks soliciting the joint looked like friendly people too. Great place for community. Dorothy was awesome and so kind. And the kitchen smelled so good it felt like being home. Thank you!

Top notch food and service. I've had the pleasure of sampling the food at various pop ups but having the physical location is a game changer. That roast beef cornbread slider Cant wait to try the rest.

We used Leecookschurch for church gathering of 30 this weekend. Such a big hit. Made it something very special for us- food was so terrific (briskett, veggies and cornbread). Easy to communicate with - they delivered hot right on time. Thankyou so much
