Bought my 14 month a child portion of fish and chips. The batter was thick and crispy but sadly saturated with oil. The little one enjoyed the fish without batter, peas and chips

Came here for a nice bank holiday lunch after a walk Richmond, staff is very attentive and the food is so so good. Would definitely recommend.

Only stopped off for a quick drink after a long journey but we fancied something light to nibble and were tempted by the starters. We had ox cheek croquettes, pork and apple scotch eggs and potted Devon crab with sour dough. We were really surprised by the quality of the food. Top class ingredients and taste. This was made even better by the fact that the portions were generous and not overpriced. We’ll be back next time for a full meal. Staff really friendly and helpful and atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.

Great pub, great service, great food - sensibly priced - and a good choice of decent beer including lower alcohol "session beer".
