Las Guitarras Restaurant

I frequent this place with my family and the food is always fantastic. The service is great and if you need anything there are always obliged to help. There isn't anything I would say don't try but what I will say is the things you should try! The barbecue to oysters are off the hook! I also like the crab enchiladas as well as the chicken enchiladas! But I like everything at this place. You should try it!

Had our association’s December meeting here and it was awesome. I loved the private room upstairs and the bar at the base of the stairs. A nice place in downtown Novato.

Nice atmosphere, nice people, and pretty good food. The Fiesta Chicken Salad is very good.

Probably hit the wrong time for staffing, between lunch and dinner, but the service was terrible. The food was ok, but not great or something you'd go out of your way for. I enjoy a good mole sauce, and this wasn't it, for example. Prices are on the high side given the level of quality.

This is a most pleasant spot to be while in Novato on a sunny day. The garden patio provides a relaxing place to enjoy a delicious meal. Yesterday I had the chilie Rellenos and a Margarita. Los Guitarras is definitely a Novato institution, a longstanding family owned restaurant dedicated to serving the best and making guests welcome as family. Service is excellent and the flan is creamy and satisfying. On my next visit I will have a full meal with combination plate of chille rellenos and tamales. Or maybe the chicken mole, this definitely a place to relax and enjoy and even to celebrate.
