Purchased the Raspberry Mousse for a small gathering. Everyone loved it! So yummy.
The only problem we encountered was trying to narrow down which one we wanted. In the end, we got one of each. The purple pear cheesecake was the smoothest, creamiest cheesecake I've ever eaten. The Napoleons were so flaky, I will definitely order 2 next time so we don't fight over who gets to finish it. The raspberry mousse cake looked absolutely mouthwatering. Too bad it was the 1st to be snatched out of the box before we even left the parking lot. Same with the lemon cream cake and chocolate cream puff. Eyes rolling back in their head and the constant "OMG" and "Mmmm" were the only feedback on those.
First time coming to this bakery and the raspberry croissant with custard was super delicious
I never do reviews but after talking to a friend she suggested I just leave a review. I used to go occasionally for sandwiches when my work schedule allowed before I moved. It has been several years since my last visit but I was not disappointed. I decided to stop by and picked up a lemon meringue tart and a croissant. The tart was tasty but the croissant... I'm sad I only picked up one. It was hands down the best croissant I've ever had. Crisp flakey outside, soft butter fluffy layers. Words do not do this croissant justice, the only thing i can say is yhat there were no crumbs left when i was done. I brought it home and made it into a sandwich. I really wish I had gotten a few more to just enjoy plain because it was perfect!
Great French Bakery. Popular with the locals so come early and kindly wait in line. There will be a line but it moves pretty swiftly.
We've been there several times and have always been impressed with their pastries. They used to serve sandwiches so it was a fun place to go for lunch, but they still offer wonderful pastries.
Very sweet ladies at the counter, and they were happy to explain all the sweets. Everything we got was delicious- my favorite being the cream puff.
This place is the best pastry shop I've found in at least 10 miles. I haven't had a single thing I didn't like, but I especially recommend their almond croissant, pear and almond tart, and cheese and pear tart. However, just be warned that this place is FREQUENTLY closed. Out of the 12 times I've come here, I've encountered them closed due to: - Running out of pastries at 1pm - Their hours suddenly changing - The chef being out - One other note on the door I can't remember I absolutely love this place, but it's incredibly frustrating to look forward to a thing, to travel there during their "open hours," and to see them closed 1 out of every 3 times I visit. I don't want to call ahead every time I want a pastry, but it's starting to feel like a necessity.
