Lankan Delights - Authentic Sri Lankan Food

I should've heeded the advice of others when they mentioned they had stomach problems after having food from Lankan Delights. I thought, maybe they aren't used to the spice level or they're one-off comments but I was so wrong. I had the chicken curry meal and the fish bun last night for dinner and I've been having stomach pain and acid reflux since early morning today. I've been to the toilet multiple times and I'm cursing myself for ignoring others' comments. The location of the place is quite obscure and it looked deserted during peak dinner time on. Saturday - which should ring some alarm bells. The food itself is tasty but it's not worth the risk of 'maybe' something going wrong. And I know it's because of the food because I haven't had this issue in forever and this was the only meal I ate out in the last 4 days. I had to write this to at least ensure I share my experience and warn others. Watch out!

Great authentic Sinhalese food. Very good prices for Lamprise. Lots of choices for short eats.

While I had a terrible experience at the haka restaurant recently I wanna make clear that IM not a salty hater or one of these review people who takes their time to hate on other business owners in fact I love this restaurant. Lankan delights It is amazing the price and quality of the food offered is very difficult to compete with. Fairly into South Indian cuisine I can safely say this is one of the better restaurants in the area by far food always being fresh relatively quick and price reasonable. Never ordered here and came up wrong. I can't speak to any of the other reviews that are less than a 5 but this is everything you want in a restaurant unless you are looking for a place to sit down and eat in which case you're out of luck as they don't offer that and it's takeout only lankan delights = 5 stars hakka express= Zero stars

Takeout only. Very long wait time

Tasty Srilankan tiffin. Have visited multiple times since discovering the place. Card machines did not work the last time. Vegetarian options: Had Buns, Breads and curries for vegetarians.

I ordered for lunch for about 25 people, the delivery was on time and piping hot. All the items were ample and delicious. All of my guests enjoyed the meals especially fried rice, eggplant moju, mutton curry. Thanks to the chef and the staff

Authentic Sri Lankan Food in Mississauga

Disappointing first experience here. Ordered lamprais, it wasn't the variety shown in the photos as shown on their website or marketing but rather a huge portion of white rice with meagre amounts of sambal, protein, an over-cooked egg and the tiniest cutlet. Lacked flavour, variety and balance to the dish. For the high price point (between $15 and $18 per lamprais), me and my guests expected better. Edit: This review is for Lankan Delights, which apparently shares the same kitchen/address as two other restaurants? It doesn't even come up on a Google search on first try... Really sketchy, just like the location.
