L'Amandine Patisserie and Coffee House

Took my mate, Dave Dolphin, here, he loved the fish soup.

Worst coffee in the area. Came to a French place expecting something French, but no, what I got was a horrible, bitter and over-extracted coffee that wasn't even tampered down... She's literally just ground the beans and put the handle straight into the machine! Such a shame that your expensive coffee equipment is wasted. Seriously, train your barista, weigh the dose and dial it in. Definitely won't return

Dog friendly cosy cafe

Came here for a simple breakfast (egg on toast) and it took about 40 minutes for us to receive it. The smoothie also took maybe 20 minutes. No condiments were offered and the bread wasn't buttered. Wouldn't have minded too much if the place was busy but it was quiet. Dirty bathroom too.

Love coming here with family, nice to support local business and friendly staff. Made a fuss of the kids with special hot chocolate. Can sit inside or out.

Stopped for a breakfast and coffee, chilled place. Lots of cyclists stopped by. Good range on menu and food was ok. Lady Serving was great.
