Lakeside Diner

Such a cool spot. Great view and food and the service was fast. Cash only, I’d come back just for the blueberry muffin.

The best thing about this place was the view! Beautiful outlook onto the lake with large windows facing the lake. The food and service was ok The main thing was you need CASH! We had to go back to the car to get more cash as we didn’t carry much on us as tourists. I even saw someone order something and then when they advised they only take cash the customer walked out as he had no cash.

I have lived in Stamford for many years and have been to every diner in Stamford. The Lakeside Diner is, by far, hands down, the best. The food is quality diner food and all of the ladies who work there are friendly and attentive. Stamford’s other diners (eg Springdale, Parkway, Curleys, etc) are mediocre at best.

Food was ok. Had a crispy chicken wrap. Fries were nice and crispy. Cash only establishment. Employees were very busy on their phones rather than tending to customers.

Classic, scrappy diner with a beautiful waterfront view and good food. My breakfast sandwich was excellent but on the small side. I'm pretty sure they use margarine instead of butter - I'm not a fan. Muffins are sweet, almost cake-like. Service is prompt but sometimes they get busy and service struggles.

I love this place . Gorgeous view of the lake which makes me go again. Tables are clean One small problem the servers they need to more attentive on us Sometimes they never check on customers is there any reason behind it. But food is delicious no doubt about it
