Popped in for a hot drink and found a little gem
Tea and cake were good, able to have a view of the lakes shared with our dogs.
Been a couple of time now last time being on the 4th Sept to the cafe and the food and service was lovely. We tried different things to what we had on our first ever visit and both time it was lovely we sat outside both times and the weather was beautiful. We loved the mugs if tea rather than a cup and sauce too. It was tranquil watching people fishing and you could hear a bit if gun fire but that did not spoil the tranquility or ombieonze of the surroundings. We left feeling very relaxed too and we will definitely be going back. All I would suggest is why not have breakfast on a plate rather than just in a cob.
Great place to visit for shooting, fishing or just relaxing with friends.
Went for a family breakfast today, good food, quick service, very well looked after.
The British tea is lack of favour but the decoration in the cafe is quite beautiful
Nice location with fishing lakes and clay pigeon shooting on site (we didn't realise this!). Indoor small cafe serving hot and cold cobs, savory pastries and selection of cakes and drinks. Outside there are picnic tables to enjoy views over the lakes.
Basic cake, canned drinks, tea and coffee. Was hoping for more and it was ok.
