Small little independent ice cream makers, in the heart of Norwich City. I have bought my ice cream for many years. Great selection of flavours and some seasonal ones aswell. They also supply to the catering trade so will look at who they supply and go for a local fix.

Visited Lakenham creamery today, met the lovely owner and staff, interesting chats with them all! Great to try some of the different, (all delicious) flavours. Seriously good ice cream! Inspiring.

If you like ice cream this is the place to go. Terrific flavours and the staff are fantastic. They even held my dogs while I tasted their products. You can’t get better.

I've been buying from them for about 2 decades, mostly from their Trafalgar St base, but occasionally from Norwich market. The style quite close to Italian gelato, and a world away from fluffed up supermarket ice-creams. Putting it out of the freezer for 15-20 minutes before serving makes it easier to scoop out the tub, but I think also enhances the flavours. Which flavours to recommend? Vanilla always a good benchmark to decide if you like the style. Cinnamon is a regular favourite (though I still miss the sweet spice and nutmeg that preceded it). It's wonderful with apple pie / strudel. Passion-fruit or Mango are vibrantly fruity Plenty of others to choose from, with only the 2-3 'cream' ones not much to my taste.

Wonderful staff and fantastic range of ice cream made locally. Well worth a visit and you won't be disappointed. Ice cream made like I remember it as a child. Thank you.

We popped to the onside shop With too many flavours to choose from we chose a flavour each. I chose gooseberry and elderflower So creamy and delicious soft flavours . Would make a special icecream for a dinner party Or not if you can't bear to share . Parking: Parking in front of store

Love being able to buy direct, my favourite flavour is Butterscotch, I'm slowly working my way through them. I like you can buy different sized tubs. It's also very close to where I love. The staff are very friendly and polite and always habe a recommendation if you are stuck soany to chose from great price.
