Good place, but don't buy meat, been going over 5 years, and meat and fruit always spoiled, or spoiled quickly . Danger

Yuck. Not from Detroit, came for the draft. Is this how Detroit grocery stores are? Sickening. Outrageously expensive. Hamburger I purchased was bad. Real bad. They refunded that. My son took a drink of milk and spit it all over it had chunks in it. I didn't even bother taking thaf back. Never again. Place is filthy

From Nashville. Needed some hot dogs and buns for a draft cookout. Buns were stale. Hot dogs were open and I didn't notice. Went back to exchange them. Every other pack of buns on shelf was stale and the hot dogs were out. Got my my money back went to Meijer down the road. I tried supporting a local buisness in Detroit but it was horrible.

Trash. Gross. Dirty place. Panhandlers outside to swarm you. Open food on the shelves. I seen a spill that looked like it had dropped down the shelves and had been there a long time. Prices are outrageous. I understand your local and small but clean your act up. This is the type of buisneas that we have been trying to get out of our city for years. Owners that take advantage of people. Shame. Hire and exterminator and people that speak English

****UPDATE**** I dont really do this but I received word that owner and staff were really trying to clean this place up. I decided to check it out again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Store was clean and well organized. They had an amazing selection and I decided to give the meat a chance. Thd sirloin was real good. Fresh hamburger. The buns were soft and fresh I looked through the bread nothing was past its date. They might actually have done it. If they keep it that way I will go back.******

The food is salty, but I already knew that. But it tastes like Saran Wrap. I don't think that's safe to eat. It tastes like plastic, then to find out, it was wrapped in Saran wrap. That's not good.

This was a good local grocery store but you now have to pay attention to your meats. I brought a pack of chicken I couldn’t even pull out the parking lot the chicken was bad. I took it back thankfully I was refunded. I hadn’t returned in months and went again on Monday for pork steak but the selection was discolored and the store smells of old meat. I walked out.

Prices are way to high. Two small bell peppers were $5.45.. Not today..I put them back and went to Aldi! $2.04

Fair price and a great Deli Department! The meat section and Fruits/Vegetables section was well stocked and many fresh products! They have a great wine section! It's just minutes from downtown and close enough to use the people mover to get there!
