La Zacatecana Taqueria

Compre queso Oaxaca y estaba seco y tenia mold. Los carniceros no practical buena higiene y los refrigeradores apestan. Compra aqui a tu propio riesgo. I've been shopping and eating here for years now but recently the quality of their merchandise as well as butcher staff has gone downhill. I bought some Oaxaca cheese today (01-31-24) against my better judgement of a previous experience and upon opening it at home I found it to be dry and moldy. I have witnessed the butchers use the same gloves to handle cheese and raw meats before and have never seen them wash their hands before. The drink coolers must have broken down as when they are opened you are engulfed in a most rancid smell. I should've known better than to shop there again. I've attached some images.

More than once, they have tried to charge more on Colombian items than what the price indicated is. Is best to go down the street.

Little ambience, but plenty of FRESH, authentic Mexican cuisine!! Love it!!!

Ordene 3 tacos de cabeza. La carne esta muy salada y muy pasada incluso olía muy fuerte. Los cambie por 1 de asada y 1 de lengua. El de asada estaba bien. Pero la lengua se ve que esa carne la mantienen lo mas posible. No recomiendo a nadie ir aquí. Mi estomago sigue pagando las consecuencias

Food was alright. Veryyy oily. But overall it was OK. Was happy to see them changing their oil, sign of healthy food. They said food would be ready in 15mins,but took 30min. I was expecting I 30mins but should have been better if they didn't give me that false hope. Their portion sizes are big, so keep that in mind before ordering. Especially Nachos. I was wondering why it costed me so much, but I realized it after opening it. Vegetarian options: Has good vegetarian options
