The birria birria taco was delicious. I was to have lunch with my work partners there but they needed some place to sit down. They tried to deny me Birria birria tacos. I said NO WAY!!
Great tacos, griddled tortillas, lots of choices of meats. The lengua chunks were HUGE, not the softest I’ve tried but the flavors were on point with the pickled onions. The goat birria was good, but you need the salsa to give it some excitement. The beans were surprisingly delicious, filled with chorizo and red peppers, the broth was a home run. The rice was the only thing that wasn’t good. It was undercooked and lacked flavor. The steak quesadilla was a hit with the kids as well as the chicken tinga tacos. Will be coming back again, and I’ll give the rice another chance. Worth the trip out. Parking: Parking in the lot is small. Street parking is right next to it but also limited because it’s in a residential location Kid-friendliness: Kids would love this food as long as they like Mexican food. The flavors are great and not spicy. Wheelchair accessibility: It would be tough to navigate with a wheelchair in here. The bathroom is behind two sets of non-automatic doors, the space is tight
Birria beef tacos and chicken tinga quesadillas were amazing! Fresh tasty and delicious. Great portion sizes for price. Best halal Mexican food I've ever had. Sopes and tortas were not as impressive, but still good. Restaurant is small and cramped, a lot of traffic. Outdoor seating accommodations are good. Nice to see hip young people alongside Muslim families. Slight mix-up as my mom has an aversion to goat and goat/beef birria tacos were put on the same platter. We had to sort it out as the situation was a bit chaotic. I think the place struggles a bit to keep up with demand because the food is so good. Something to keep in mind when you visit.
I love this place. The only part is the parking, especially in the weekends. It’s a very popular spot and close to a residential area but the food is phenomenal.
probably the only halal taco place I've found, but I haven't looked around much. most of the food is in small portions so you may need to order a few items. depends on how much you want to eat. everything tasted great. parking isn't great so cross your fingers. I'll be back again when I'm in the mood for halal tacos/quesadillas etc.
Great Halal authentic Mexican food options. Had the Quesadilla, Tacos and Sopes with various meat options. We also tried the Tres Leches, Elotes and Aqua Fresca. Literally everything tasted amazing. Will be back whenever I am in the area. Dietary restrictions: 100% Halal according to staff.
