La Poblanita Mexican Restaurant & Candy Store

Food is typical, but very salty. Carnitas were wet, not roasted crispy. Interior was typical, exterior looks run down. Service was very good.

Great food! Our waitress spent more time on her phone or talking to other employees at the bar than waiting on her tables. Our soft drinks were totally empty BEFORE our meal was delivered. A runner brought out the hot plates, we assumed she would follow him to ask if we needed anything else. We finished the entire meal before she returned to check on us and ask if we needed anything. We will go back, might ask for a water AND a soft drink just in case.

The food here is excellent. It’s some of the best Mexican I’ve had outside of Mexico. The owner/manager is usually there and on top of things. Today the service was meh and I saw a lot of servers just standing around. The food was fantastic though and I would go back.

This place is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in the Charlotte area, hands down. I've taken my family a number of times and no matter what we order, we're never disappointed. If you want some good Mexican food, then go to La Poblanita!

Nice spot for good tacos. We like the hard shell beef and shrimp. The nachos and margaritas are really good. The nachos don’t come out looking the best but they do a good job with them. The prices are super affordable. Customer service is ok. They could be a tad more attentive.

Can get a little loud at the time when they have live music. But food is phenomenal, staff is great. Great Mexican food for sure!
