Always good food

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant we've got in Statesville! It's authentic Mexican food and not that American Mexican stuff you get at some other restaurants. I highly recommend you try their Mexican tacos. The Carnitas and Lengua are my personal favorites. They also have great cheese dip and tomatillo sauce. If you're not into tacos try their ACP or Mexican burrito. You can't go wrong with either. We go visit La Pelusa usually a few times a week and it's always an enjoyable experience!

We've order take out a few times and the meals have been great. Definitely worth a visit.

Food was amazing I had the pollo Jalisco, delicious-- and the wait staff I found to be attentive, I will definitely be returning to try a bunch of other things I saw on the menu! Update*** sopes, my new favorite! Churros are great, love love love the fried fish tacos, bean dip is to die for. If you like it spicy ask for the spicy salsa. Omg almost forgot, love the chili Colorado!
