Best street food. Reminds me of home
I went to this place looking at the positive reviews and was deeply disappointed. First they charge 18% gratuity for a party of 5+ which I am happy to pay if the hard working people are paid that money which is not in this case. I wanted to pay for my food by CC and the gratuity by cash so that it goes to the right people but that not an option at all. The people working are very courteous. The tables and chairs have been taken from another pace and put up here. It shakes, wobbles and 2 tables do not align together. We ordered for Chole Batura and what we received was a BUNTURA (made from frozen dinner rolls). This is atrocious for the price we pay and the authenticity they claim. Then we ordered for Chicken Balti which was supposed to be their favorite but was so sweet. My kids liked their pizza and it tasted good but sorry I did not go in to a punjabi place to have pizzas. In all it was a disaster. Will not recommend and go again to this place. Total waste of money and time.
Expensive and super oily food. Off the 6 appetizers items in menu, 2 were not available. Ordered 3 appetizers (gobi manchurian, samosa chaat and bone in wings) for carry out. Gobi manchurian batter was not cooked and wasnt safe to consume. 44$ including 3% service charge for credit card. Dont recall restaurants charging service fee in DFW for CC usage. Quantity and price is not worth for their mediocre restaurant. Their ambience was horrible and glad I did not dine in.
New place, chola batura was good..fish amristiri was not good enough
Amritsari kulcha and chole was just wow, just a wow, a wow ......
Absolutely delicious! Full of flavor and just enough heat to be spicy but not overpowering. Service was immediate and quick, especially for the lunchtime hour. Serving sizes were plentiful; had two big servings and still had more for the take home box. It’s clear they are still working on transforming the space from the previous pizza restaurant, and I imagine that will come with time. Decor isn’t what I was there for anyways. Come in, sit down, order, and dine to your stomach’s content!
This place has quickly become my absolute favorite spot. Their butter chicken is AMAZING as well as their amritsari kulcha with chole! The service is always kind and polite :)
