Favorite restaurant in town, especially considering the price. Duck confit with veggies and rice for $23 is my favorite. Their specials are worth trying if you get tired of duck confit, like curried lamb shank one time. Amazing.
It’s a great little place with European vibe. Enjoyed it very much. The only thing was the fries were not real traditional Belgian style but American frozen ones. I would think a place who’s name is Frite, that should be their feature.
As a Belgian I endorse La Frite. As authentic as it gets. Great beer, great food, great service.
The food used to taste better. Their rissoto lacked salt. Their chocolate mousse was ltasteless
Tried this place for Restaurant Week. Service and food were above and beyond expectations!
The mussels are very good and the service also.
This place is always on point, great customer service, food and atmosphere! The wine and champagne selection is amazing! Alex is the best!
Incredible restaurant. Imagine the finest French-Belgian home-cook meal. Fresh ingredients, outstanding seasoning (light like your grandma's), and a homely atmosphere. Plus it's actually affordable! We will return next time we visit San Antonio. Recommend: Tenderloin steak, white wine mussels, escargot, and duck confit.
