Fantastic gelato selection and even a couple of sorbets! Loved the espresso gelato and banana walnut was amazing! Cute tables outside in the shade and a gorgeous white street clock for a landmark, and to let you it's time for more gelato! This place is legit. As one who is quite picky with giving out 5 star reviews, this deserves it 100%. The ingredients are super high quality, texture is on point, flavors are amazing. I had the chocolate and banana. Banana was one of the best gelato flavors I’ve ever had. Owner was very knowledgeable and encouraged us to try lots of flavors. Bottom line: go here!!

We ordered the gelato and a cake to take home. The cookie dough gelato tasted amazing. They had a real cookie on top. I highly recommend. Their lemon gelato was fabulous, it tasted just like a Marie Calendar’s sour lemon cream pie. The red velvet card was scrumptious. Services was excellent. We will definitely be back.

I came here on a whim with a girlfriend last week and it was just what we needed. The owner was clearly very passionate about the quality of the product (particularly the pistachio, which was out of this world!). I couldn't chose just one flavor, so he was helpful in choosing 3 flavors that complemented each other perfectly. I'm excited to go back and try more flavors, or even the heavenly looking pastries!

This is our favorite little spot in Palm Desert! The gelato and baked goods are amazing! The owner and his wife are wonderful. Love La Dolce Piccola!
