La Carreta Denham Springs

The food wasn't clean, meaning it's appearance wasn't appetizing and fresh looking. The rice looked leftover with leftover potatoes and corn mixed in. The chicken quesadillo had things mixed in it that I couldn't identify. The next morning I woke up not feeling right in my belly. Our waiter was excellent though.

Great food, Great cocktails, and great service. Nicely decorated. Had the option to dine in the building or out on the patio. Did not have to wait long for our food or drinks. Great experience! Parking: Fairly large parking lot with several handicap spots Kid-friendliness: Kid menu and family oriented atmosphere Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or major curbs. Wheelchair bound folks should have no problems accessing restaurant.

Margaritas are simply too much Margarita mix in a machine & then they add flavor on top to make a horrible concoction, better margarita's at Texas Roadhouse as they're fixed per the flavor ordered not just adding flavor sauce on top. Food was horrible, steak in the food was definitely anything but steak as it was dry, chewy, stringy & the little flavor it had was not tasty. We couldn't eat our meals as they were that bad. I have no idea why some people think the food and drinks here are good, years ago it was great but now it's overpriced and nasty.
