These things are so crack! Light flakey crispy dough with delicious fresh ingredients (I had spinach and its not the shredded blended stuff it seems to be whole baby leaf spinach). The chimichurri sauce is everything! Also the owner is simply fabulous and you are supporting a genuinely friendly warm and really cool person who opened this place in honor of his late mother who passed from COVID. Family recipe.

The guy working the counter was very friendly and helpful. After getting my empanadas ready to go, he even threw in a complimentary drink. Great service and the empanadas were delicious!

If I could give these empanadas 10 stars, I would. Never had a better empanada, and the owner is so friendly. I will be back many times more. A new DC fav!

The owner was incredibly friendly and gave us free empanadas just for having a positive attitude and making friends in line. The empanadas are amazing (don’t doubt the sweet corn)
