My favorite dim sum restaurant in Winnipeg
Food taste is good but expensive per person, they charge mandatory extra 12% service fee and asking again for tips which is very greedy. The guy wearing mask at front desk was very rude, no greetings, not even wanting to talk to us when we came in. They really should fire this guy unless he’s the owner which explains why he’s still there after so many complaints about him.
Great food. Unfriendly service. Huge and authentic food.
One of the best dim sum in Winnipeg
Best Chinese food you will ever have. I’ve eaten at many Chinese food restaurants and nothing will ever beat the food at Kum Koon!!! Definitely will recommend to everyone I know
Went on a Wednesday and the food was nothing special and the dim sum cart service was terrible. We were seated in the first room. There were others in that area but most of them were finished their meals. Most of the carts ignored our area and we had to wait a long time between a cart coming to our table. We waited 15 minutes between our first cart to the next cart. The cost of each dish was very expensive and not great. For example, a small plate of noodles, nothing but noodles, cost $9.00. I would not go back.
So penny-pinching staff! The parking lot by the restaurant has a machine by Main Street, it didn’t print receipt today. They are supposed to reimburse the parking fee, I explained to the guy at cashier for 5 mins but he refused to trust me because the bank app showing the wrong location which is 2 km away from your restaurant, who would park 2km away and walk to your restaurant with -10C in Winnipeg Downtown in winter?Who on earth eating in your restaurant wants to scam you for $6? Will not come back again!
