Absolutely loved this place!! We need more places like it.
This little bistro brunch spot charges $6.00 for a "Seasonal Fruit Cup" that ended up being 4 little apple slices and 2 bits of orange! You've cat to be kitten me! I understand that inflation is a thing, but that's just a rip-off, no matter how you (thinly) slice it. The atmosphere and coffee were lovely (that's why they got three stars) but the food was not. Besides the meager fruit portion, the potatoes were over-salted and I don't know what was up with the eggs. My companion got the breakfast sandwich but only tried the salad that came along with it because it had a weird flavor. ♀️ Super disappointing.
Our favorite place to eat and hang out! The Chef has supernatural talent in the kitchen and the owner, Heidi, is a gift to all who meet her. ❤️
The coffee here is some of the best in Minneapolis. I wish they would lean more into the coffee shop vibe, especially around non-mealtimes. That would mean less interaction with staff, and perhaps a bit more cozy of an environment (the space is super beautiful but I'm not sure I'd call it cozy). I've shown up at 3pm to sit and read while drinking a coffee, but felt like I was intruding in a fine-dining restaurant. I would love to be able to grab a coffee at the counter and sit down without having to remove a table setting or shoo away servers offering me food menus (when it's not a meal time). Love having new stuff like this in the neighborhood, overall! We are rooting for Kruse!
Great spot for a HH! Had the turkey pesto sandwich which was delicious.
The food is amazing and the place is quite charming. I had the small cheese plate and the turkey pesto sandwich. The crackers were homemade and incredibly tender. I will be back. They have plenty of working space if you want to go hang out while you work.
