Employee was very nice and conversational to the customer that ordered before me. She also shared the receipt with her requesting a satisfaction survey. Her attitude and demeanor immediately changed when it was my turn. I’m not sure what she saw in my appearance that was so different from the prior customer’s but our interaction was unfortunately very unpleasant. I didn’t say anything rude to her before, during, or after taking my order. She was short with me, and gave a very strong indication that I was wasting her time. Let me be clear that I’m not a slow person that is indecisive and asks a lot of questions - none of that really - so pushing someone’s patience threshold is not a common occurrence for me. She was very deliberate to throw away my receipt (the one that contains the survey invite). When I asked for one afterward I was only given the one with the transaction details. I probably would have shrugged this all off but then she made me the worst drink that I’ve had at a Krispy Kreme. So yeah, I took a photo of her to leave a bad review after eating my doughnut and throwing my drink away, because if this happened with one of my employees, a probationary warning or extra training would be in order and termination if a certain benchmark of improvement wasn’t reached. Hopefully management will take my review seriously and not just blow it off as an angry “Karen”.
Enjoyed the doughnuts. Service was great. Overall good place to stop for breakfast or a late night snack!
The employees are absolutely rude. Like it is a big inconvenience, they have to talk or answer questions. We asked about peanuts, and the lady acted like she was so inconvenienced. Get new workers, Krispy Cream!
