Krisota's Cake Shop

As a resident of Teaneck, I’ve always passed by this shop on my way to UPS. The store front looks appealing and their baked goods looked beautifully made. I am not sure why it took so long for us to visit, but we finally did after checking out some reviews. The empanadas and tres leches cakes we’re highly recommended. Their empanadas seems to sell out rather quickly. My hubby stopped by today and their mushrooms empanadas were all sold out around 1pm. Maybe we’ll get lucky when we visit for the third time (they were closed on a Monday when we attempted to stop by a few weeks ago.) We picked up a tres leches cake today since it was recommended by other reviewers and it was indeed delicious. It’s not overwhelmingly sweet. I wished it was soaked with more milk- it was slightly dry, but the cake was very fresh! I’d definitely buy this again for $4. The raspberry oats bar is probably the healthiest baked goodie that they offer…it tastes like a fresh granola bar with an extra burst of raspberry flavor! Tip- they will eventually set up a new system to preorder empanadas ahead of time :) —— 1/30/24 Super late post, bc my new mom life has been a big adjustment! I ordered a baby shower cake a few months back and the outcome was beyond our expectations!!! Our guests complimented on the beautiful cake and how delicious it was! I love how Krisota took the time to note down all the notes for my custom cake! We purchased the cake tops and dropped it off. She did an excellent job recreating a cake from two inspiration photos.

Krisota’s Cakes are always delicious and beautiful. She takes great care in her work and is so kind. I’m obsessed with the dulce de leche icing. Highly recommend!!

I had the pleasure of getting a cake for my sister’s 30th birthday. I came across Kris’ website by chance and I am so glad I did. I sent her a design and she said sure not a problem, I can do that! I wish the pictures did this cake more justice because it was sooooo pretty and shimmery. We did yellow cake with custard and strawberry preserves. It was fantastic! Cake was super moist and the buttercream was so smooth and not overly sugary like some can be. We were all raving about the cake all night. It’s rare to have a cake that’s super nice and tastes just as good. Kris did an amazing job! Her customer service is top tier. She’s super nice and works with you on making sure you have exactly what you want. Great prices too. I will be sure to tell everyone to make sure they get a cake from here. Thanks so much Kris!

My toasted coconut birthday cake and chocolate raspberry whip cupcakes were amazing ,delicious,and beautiful. Love Kris the owner/baker is the best!

The lady was super kind, we were able to get a same day cake that was available with a delicious mango buttercream filling. I cant wait to try the other cakes, highly recommend!!!My mother and family loved her birthday cake.

Fantastic wedding cake tasting experience. We couldn't decide on the flavor because we loved them all! Kris was so pleasant and professional. We are beyond happy we found them.

I wish I could give her 6 stars. From walking into her beautiful shop to the sampling of cakes to the cake being delivered. She was amazing, kind, and patient for our small little wedding ceremony. The cake was exquisitely beautiful, delicious, and a huge centerpiece to our day. Thank you for everything we plan to use this shop for any major event in our family from now on.

Tasted here for my wedding cake and have since bought cakes for other events - good attention to detail and very kind. Professional cake shop that I will be using again in the future. Would absolutely recommend to a friend.

Ok so my family ordered a custom cake from Krisota’s and could not be happier! My son is going to the University of Tennessee and we wanted to commemorate this accomplishment. The cake was beautiful! We chose the tres leches flavor because that is his favorite cake and I have to say everyone at the party raved about it! I will definitely be ordering another cake from Krisotas when ny daughter graduates!
