Koto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

The experience was nice my nephew loved it, it was his first time there and he enjoyed the entertainment part of them making our food. The food tasted delicious and was prepared to the ti.

I spent $11.50, $12.40 with tax for "two" spicy tuna rolls that included 6 total pieces of spicy tuna sushi. The cashier at Koto Express insisted that was what you get for two rolls. They were good, as usual. But the value isn't there anymore. I used to get 12 pieces for two rolls. They just upped the cost not too long ago. Now you only get 6 pieces for a higher price? C'mon.. At least the hibachi steak was reasonable, still.

Went for some sushi and hibachi. It started off with the server not knowing the menu and how to get his manager to clarify couple items. I ordered Philadelphia roll and yellowtail. It tasted pretty good. Then went on to have hibachi with steak shrimp and chicken. The chef was no fond, and kept on, mumbling and singing to himself, as he was cooking the food like he was timing when the food is cooked. Overall, it was OK but I’m not sure if I’ll be back. The hibachi tasted great, but not enough veggies, mainly rice.

Hibachi was great but also ordered sashimi and nigiri once for togo and it was frozen and the pieces were very small.

Food is overall awful Mango curry pre-prepped in oven bowl, chilled, then just oven warmed up not freshly made. Red curry pre-prepped in oven bowl, chilled, then just oven warmed up not freshly made. Lazy restaurant Sushi was 4/10 at best!

Came here for my man's birthday it was great and the food was awesome I had the sizzling BBQ chicken and he had the Cajun steak. The fried rice was ok but the salad and meat awesome.

Got food poisoned immediately after dining here for lunch - Ruining the whole day. Also we asked to get seated while waiting for our friend, but the server told us we can only wait outside while there is a lot of empty tables inside. Very frustrated on both service and food. Not recommended.

I been coming here for years and never leave disappointed. It’s my favorite place to get sushi. I got the shrimp tempura, spicy roll with yellowtail and the rock shrimp.

Everything here is always fantastic!! The food is fresh and the service is above and beyond. Sofie, the manager, Vivian (and all the staff) provide awesome hospitality. As a fish snob i can confidently say they have fantastic and fresh sashimi! If you want to check them out, but don't want to navigate the mall, make sure you park in the food court.
