This now holds the mantle in our life for the best tasting experience we have had. We had the cheaper market tasting and you would struggle to find fault with any of it. It was also outstanding value and to do that in the old town of such a foodie capital takes courage and probably keeps them on their toes. Each dish was explained well and the cooking skills and execution was the best overall package we have experienced. I fully understand the star rating. Perhaps the only “fault” and that’s being picky, was the slow start to service with drinks and bread but once in their smooth service flow, the pace and attention was of the same standard as the food. Highlights for us was the Mussel starter, the Trout and Caviar dish and the white asparagus small plate. It’s a bit like picking you favourite child. Bravo!
Service was fantastic, though there were points of the service where one could've expected smoother service like drink service. Otherwise we had the tasting menu which was good and with interesting flavors, though some were definitely better than others. The tuna with pumpkin and curry was a nice dish, but the squid noodles wasn't totally it. A bit of a shame towards the end as we were celebrating a special occasion but the extra treat at the end had allergens in it, which made it a little disappointing.
One of the best culinary experiences my wife and I have had, ever! Period. Full stop. Thanks for the service and excellent, incredible, amazing experience!
Incredible service and food. The dishes are very well thought out and the staff was so welcoming. We were lucky enough to have a parade pass by while we ate. Can’t recommend enough. This place was better than the three Michelin star restaurant we experienced in the region.
Our waitress was nice - however, on entry, tried to tell various staff members about allergies which they continued to ignore until something I was allergic to was out infront of us before getting a chance to discuss. My partner had gotten very sick after just one course, they had little empathy for his position and said we needed to pay for the tasting menu (whilst he was throwing up outside) as it was ‘preparer’. So I asked to take mine away - turns out, it wasn’t prepared, waited another 10-15 minutes whilst he was very sick. Waste of money, poor service
