Amazing food! Koji does not disappoint. The only con was during a recent visit. All of us ordered at once and two of us were waiting for about 25 minutes with no food after our friends had gotten theirs.

This was ok but I find it odd that they did not have iced tea at all and then I asked for Diet Coke, but they were out of it, and they still charge me for it ps we came on the 18 of February and had order a California roll and they forgot to put it on the ticket for ordering ..

Interesting menu! The food did take a little while to come out, but the flavors were very diverse, innovative, and delicious so it was well worth the wait. The khaleesi roll was incredible! The main problem that was really a vibe killer was that the entire restaurant would get ~extremely~ smoky several times throughout our dinner. so bad it would burn our eyes and you could clearly see that the air was filled with smoke and my hair smelled like smoke when we left! Their vent system must not work very well and it was almost unbearable. I would sincerely ask them to invest in a better vent system because it was pretty awful at some points and made it very hard to sit there comfortably. The food was great, our server Sam was really sweet and helpful, but the smoke was hard to get over.

Creative fusion dining. I wish the menu had a little more variety but everything we tried was great. The only downside is the price. It also isn't very kid friendly. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu. The menu is adventurous by design but kids often want simple and familiar.

Our experience at Koji was lovely. It’s a small restaurant with intimate seating and an open kitchen. The tables that seat two are quite small and close to the surrounding tables, which is the only critique we had about the atmosphere and overall experience. Past that we loved the food that was served. You can tell how much thought and effort is put into each dish, especially their hand rolls. Each roll had different textural elements and targeted flavorful sauces. We would highly recommend the kobayashi maru maki roll. Our other favorite were the kfc wings; the batter was impressive and made every bite crispy. Great eating experience overall, would highly recommend.

I wish I could award more than 5 stars—Koji truly exceeded expectations! The culinary experience was exceptional, the service outstanding, and the ambience struck the perfect balance between cool and cozy. We had to make it a point to pace ourselves through the menu because every dish sounded delicious. Among our favorites were the KFC bao buns and the buta pork belly yakitori. We received complementary sablefish nigiri, which was absolutely divine! In the spirit of “constructive feedback” (and I use air quotes because it's a minor detail), the hamachos were presented on a single large rice crisp, making them a bit challenging to eat. While I personally prefer the original hamachos served on chicharrones from Yoshitomo, I must emphasize that they were still delicious—a small detail in an otherwise fantastic experience. Now, let's talk about the staff. Every encounter with the team was marked by genuine graciousness, which is rare to find. Unlike some other “hip” restaurants in Omaha where patrons are treated as an inconvenience, this establishment stands out for its kind and enthusiastic staff. They were not only attentive but also eager to share their passion for the food and offer thoughtful recommendations. Thank you for creating such a memorable dining experience! We can’t wait to come back.
