Kiosco Mexican Grill

I ordered the pick 2 special with 2 chicken burritos, I had a choice of 2 sides opting for refrieds and rice. The refrieds tonight were runny and lacking any flavor. The burritos were ok but were also void of flavor. The chips and salsa were ok but not the best. The sweet tea was refilled often. I was also given bottles of Valentinas hot sauce and Tapatio hot sauce. My dish was only $11.99 and with tea and generous tip I was out the door full and under $20. But tonight was different service wise. Two couples were seated after me and both were waited on before me. This is not the service that made me rave about the place the first time.

I always order either the Burrito Especial Texano (about $18 after tax and tip) or the Burrito Tipico ($15 after t&t) and it is always the best in town with very generous portions that are hard to finish in one sitting. Their soups and salsa are also delicious. Every order comes with unlimited chips and salsa, and you get a pretty generous bag full with a take-out order (cheese or guac is extra, and honestly a little overpriced). The restaurant is clean and well decorated with intimate and warm low-lighting. The patio is my favorite place to sit in nice weather when I’m with friends and the bar is where I go when I’m just grabbing a beer with lunch and watching youtube. Staff are lovely and super patient while I practice my spanish. I seriously love the hostess and all of their servers, I don’t laugh like that anywhere else. Great for dates, dinner with friends, or when you just don’t feel like cooking. Parking: Parking directly at restaurant entrance. Plenty of space.

This place is always on point. Great staff and atmosphere. Food is always good. They finally put Birria tacos on the menu. DELICIOUS! finally a place that did them the correct way in the triad. Their street tacos and margaritas are some of the best as well.

Great place to eat. Go there a lot for business style lunches. One word of advice, if the college students are in town, make sure you are there early. This place can fill up in a hurry.
