Kilwins Chocolates, Fudge, & Ice Cream Shoppe

We got the smallest size icecream they had. 1 small scoop and it was 5 dollars and some change . Rip off absolute rip off . And I got cookie dough ice cream there was not 1 piece of cookie dough in that tiny scoop they gave me. Stay away unless you want to get robbed of your money .

I just made a quick trip to Portsmouth today and as I’m driving back to MA I was trying the mint chocolate cookie and the Tonga and now I’m disappointed I didn’t buy more! It was so good! The staff who rang me up was also very very kind too! Super polite and friendly. I plan to come back again, hopefully soon!! :)

Even though we didn't taste everything, the food looked mouth-watering and everybody had a smile on their face. My class would recommend the hot chocolate because it was creamy, chocolatey, and tasted as if it was from Willy Wonka's chocolate river. There were so many options for different foods and the service was quick and efficient. Make sure to enter the raffle for the 22 lb chocolate Santa!

Maybe I just went on a bad day service-wise, but I left discouraged. The service I experienced was very disappointing. The evening I stopped in had a high customer volume, and staff members seemed quite chatty with each other and were not very attentive to waiting customers. My family and I waited quite a long time while we watched the staff dottle. I paid a lot more then I was expecting for a treat that was yummy but nothing incredibly special; maybe I just didn't try something unique enough. The environment was pretty nice. Lots of people around and the excitement of yummy treats on pretty displays. I appreciated that. I would definitely try to go again to see if maybe I just hit a bad night, but currently I can't say I am impressed.

Great spot for sweets in downtown Portsmouth. The counter staff was friendly and personable. My son immediately wanted gummy bears and the woman checking us out said he made a good choice because the bears were flavorful and the perfect chewiness. I thought she just was being kind to a kid but she was absolutely correct. Best gummy bears I’ve ever had! Full of flavor and different flavors than you typically find at candy shops. We also got a pretzel coated in caramel and dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt - absolutely delicious. The chocolate covered graham cracker was great too.

Mediocre products, over priced, terrible service. Stay away.
