Very good korean fried chicken, but pricey. $40 for a whole chicken
Authentic and flavorful Korean cuisine, truly a culinary delight. However, the experience was marred by the persistent use of plastic tableware, even for dine-in patrons, which detracted from the overall ambiance. Additionally, the lack of proper ventilation resulted in a noticeably smoky atmosphere, possibly due to the absence of an effective kitchen exhaust system.
It is one of the few restaurants where I can go after 10pm. I ordered the chicken with sweet & spicy sauce, it tasted great and the quantity was good enough as well. Food was well packed and ready to pick up within 25min after the order which was pretty fast.
Amazing food and service, very highly recommend!! Definitely the BEST fried chicken, dumplings, and Bibimbap I’ve ever had. The first few bites were absolute heaven and I quite literally couldn’t stop after that. Tried gimari and corn cheese for the first time and LOVED both! My friends and I can’t wait to have K-Fry again. Thanks so much :)
Original fried chicken tasted bland. Nice texture and juicy but didn’t have much taste..
This place is open later than most other restaurants in the neighborhood. Their Donkatsu was delicious and the portion was awesome! I was pretty full before I could even finish the meal.
Excellent crunchy Korean fried chicken, as good as any into Toronto’s Koreatown, where we first discovered it at 2:00 am one day, and promptly fell in love. Definitely the best in Halifax so far! The service is swift and friendly, the place is spotless, the kimchi and pickles homemade. Yum!
We ordered the four flavoured chicken. On the positive side, the portion was surprisingly good for four adults. However, the sweet sauce and soy flavour didn’t seem to fit what we have been exposed to Korean before. The chicken itself was way too tough and bland without the skin. They don’t provide carrier bags which could be a deal breaker when you order a huge platter of chicken. But that’s my personal opinion.
They don't open till midnight or 1am..we drove 35 mins for it to find it not open
We ordered the chicken "potato puffs" and bimbim bup. Overcooked fried chicken and soggy tater tots drenched in sauce. Bimbim bup very little meat and over dressed. Not the authentic Korean I was expecting.
