Ordered on line oops canceled Y ????

Yesterday around 1pm, my mother went into the KFC in Shallotte, NC. On the counter and in the window was signs advertising $5.00 specials. After placing her order, the male behind the counter told her the amount due, which was not the advertised "specials" price. He refused to give her the discount, saying the promotion just ended. Neither, did he bother taking down the signage. He was so rude. This was going to be take out, but she left without her order. She will be 85 next week. Is this how you treat senior citizens??? False advertising also. Shame on you Shallotte KFC! No other KFC acts like this. All the other locations that we've been in are great and have wonderful customer service.

Really good a must stop

I truly hate giving bad reviews. I understand this establishment has help wanted signs posted, however, there are ways to operate on minimal staff. My husband and I have always loved eating here until lately. It has been steadily declining and last night was our last visit. The dining room was closed (drive-thru only). The wait wasn't extremely long. When we got home, some of our order was not edible. How do you mess up corn? "How many days old was it" was our question. The chicken tasted as though the oil has not been changed in quite some time. The Mashed Potatoes were watered down. Totally unacceptable for spending just a few cents shy of $50.00 for my husband and I. If they are under staffed, cut back on days open or just open for dinner. Anything but compromise the quality of product you are trying to sell.

Haven’t been there in a year bc of there bad service and decided too try it one more time and they still didn’t get it right

This place is nasty. Went in on 8-19-24. Floors were all wet. One person inside eating. In the parking lot was a vehicle with kfc apparel inside which looked as someone was living inside. Anyway. Ordered 2 of the chicken strip meal's. Spoke w the owner. Seemed nice. I thought it was weird only one person was eating. He told me I just missed the crowd. Uh huh. I should have left when I saw one person eating. Anyway we spoke more and he told us that he was planning on firing the majority of his crew and getting new help. This was said in the presence of his workers. Id of walked out if I was working there. Anyway We got our food. Asked for bbq and ranch to dip in. Went to get our drinks and the soda dispenser didnt have any syrup in the flavors. Lemonade was just water. Got home. Opened up the boxes and no sauce. And the chicken was like rubber. Looked like it had been reheated and old. Tried it and it was awful. No crispy. This place is a joke. Food is foul. Stay away from this place if you don't want to get sick.

Chicken was amazing, hot , fresh !! Staff very friendly.

Original recipe mmmm

6/5/2024 made an online order over $50. wanted original on my 8 piece and it was extra crispy. Requested BBQ sauce 5 count for tenders none in the bag and no receipt. This is a great location, but they need to get their act together on service.

The chicken tasted like it was old grease. It was hot but didn’t taste good. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Biscuit was good. I may try another visit.

Glass chicken I got there was dry as a bone I couldn't hardly eat it. Never again
