The person at the ordering counter was incredibly helpful. We went for the first time ever for Savor Fort Wayne 2024, and the food was amazing. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the fries salty and delicious, the chicken parm sauce was amazing and the cheesecake was heavenly. We will definitely be back!
My boyfriend and I went during Savor Fort Wayne but didn't also realize it was a trivia night and it was extremely busy. The staff could not have been more helpful as they tried to find us a seat on a jam packed night and moved around furniture to give us a place to eat. Exceptional service and good atmosphere
Superb laid back cider brewery with great gluten free bar food
My extended family loves this place. As in, its their favorite restaurant. So, I've ate here numerous times. I don't get it. Like, at all. The food has been meh everytime I've had it. I was told their fries are amazing. Bland, basic crinkle fries. Their chicken strips are okay, overly salty. Same with the pickle chips. I only write this today as my experience today was terrible. Went for a relatives birthday restaurant of choice for brunch. Was actually looking forward to it as their brunch menu looked nice. My wife and I got chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, breakfast tacos, bacon, and guacamole. So, 15ish minutes after the other 7 people we were with received their food (which had the same items we'd ordered and we ordered before half of them) I finally went up to the counter as clearly something was up. As I'm talking to the lady at the counter the cook is peeking out the window at us. Then buzzes the food is done. Anticipating the refund I was about to request is my guess. So I went and got the food. She tells me "hold the buzzer were still waiting on biscuits". Whatever at this point. So I take the food back. Ice cold tacos for my wife and a cold soggy waffle for me. Don't worry the apple syrup they give felt as if it was fresh out of the fridge. So I poured cold syrup onto my cold butter and cold and soggy waffle. It was fantastic. Who wants to spend $12 for warm food anyway. Also $3 for and ounce and a half of store bought guacamole is outrageous. So midway through the worst waffle of my life I'm very annoyed. Then I notice everyone else is done eating. Still no biscuits and gravy. So I went up got that refunded. Of course they can't refund without voiding and re-running the entire order. So I have double charges on my card. Hopefully it'll fall off and I won't have another headache to deal with. I should've taken none of the food and got a refund. After we left my wife of course says I should've got a refund instead of eating. The only reason I didn't is I figured she wanted her food still. Through the entire ordeal, no apology or explanation was provided. I'm not expecting free anything, I don't want people crying and kissing my feet. A simple "I apologize we messed up" probably would've been enough to stop my lazy self getting online to write this review. There's a free lesson in customer service. Also I tipped originally and after the refund. Then I wondered as I ate my chilled waffle, why the hell am I tipping? I got my own waters. I got my own silverware. I had to check on the status of my meal myself. I took my own dishes up and threw the trash away myself. I was the waiter, yet I tipped someone else? Why?? It's very cold in there too. Drinks are good. Just meh. If you want brunch go to dash in or somewhere else.
Such a cool place!!! The service was top notch as the people helping us were so kind and fun. The atmosphere is great for multiple types of days ..date day, girls day, guys night, family dinner, etc. And the food was so good. I couldn't tell that the chicken tenders were gluten free. I had been missing breaded chicken since learning I am sensitive to gluten and these hit the spot. You get three sauces with them and it was so much fun to pick out new ones to try. Plus they were delicious. The fries were great with just enough salt on them, but not too much. And the apple cider was so fresh. I definitely recommend this place.
We had great food and service, but the barn was actually pretty cold inside and the metal seats made it worse. I asked for warm drinks to try to help warm us up but they don’t have anything warm right now. No server so you order food at the bar then get a buzzer to know when to pick up food at the kitchen window. I liked that set up so we didn’t have to wait for a server. Menu is mostly fried chicken and some sides, but the dedicated gluten free fryer is why we came to try it and everything we ate was great. Loved the variety of sauces, too. We will definitely be back but will wear much warmer clothes next time! Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten free fryer as of November 2023. Vegetarian options.
