Went in tonight for chocolate chips. Unfortunately, there were none left - as I was about to leave, the nice man working gave me a little baggie of chocolate chips from the kitchen FOR FREE. Are you kidding? That's the nicest thing ever. I fought him and wanted to give money, but he said: "this is what neighbours do for each other". I did buy some extra sweets as a thank you. Really made my week. Support your neighbours!
The new owner Tara was an absolute pleasure very Kind and accommodating
They make up their prices. There’s a custom amount for every single one of their items. Hagandaz small ice cream costs $7.86 minutes tax. At loblaws it’s $5. They should be transparent and display and be consistent with prices.
The shelves are pretty bare they don't have much inventory in the store section- not so convenient. I did not try their food as the restaurant was closed. The customer service was great.
Very uncomfortable walking into this Village store. Can be expensive. Only benefit - local.
Had used an ATM here and it only dispensed 20/100$. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they weren't willing to do anything about it, they said they'd get the landlord to call me about it but they never did and now I'm out 80$ because of this place
