Poor everything. Don't go here. Low portion. Slow service. The bathroom is outside the restaurant. Food is on the peak of salty, sour, bitter.... but great texture. There's a mango drink is just mango juice from a concent. The cook needs to go out and eat at other
restaurants. I will go back for the kind lady. Remember it took u guys 5minutes to seat us and u guys were chating. You gave us our apps with no plates for over 5 mins. Idk the culture but I've never eaten without a plate, tray, table cloth, or never asked if I needed utensils. I noticed that everyone had utensils but us. We didn't like the food but the lady forced us to take it home. I'm not mad. This is just an honest review.
Highly recommended for food, atmosphere, and service. Wish I had got the waitress's name to thank specifically because we kept her late with our talking after dinner and she had taken good care of us. The meat and veggies sampler platters which we had were all excellent. The gomen wot (collard greens) here were perhaps the best I have had, and Ethiopian is my favorite.
Ordered for pickup due to pandemic. Their injera is light and fluffy, the entrees are tasty and the portions are pretty large. They are legitimately good! Finally, some competition for the restaurant on Saratoga Ave. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Be sure to try their sambusa, it's the best vegetarian one I've had so far, great texture and taste.
One of my favorite ethiopian restaurants of all time, and I love ethiopian food. This place is solid, and a must-do if in San Jose. Our favorite order is veggie combo with kitfo special. Love the house made tej and sambusas as well.
Every time we come we find a relaxed atmosphere that encourages leisurely dining and conversation, great service and help with menu selection, and the food is excellent. At least half the patrons at any given time are Ethiopian which speaks well of the authenticity. A hidden gem!
We went there for lunch. The food was good and the portions were large. One issue though I did have was that their POS machine was not working. So in order to pay they phoned in my credit card details. This is a huge risk in terms of identity theft and they did this without first checking with me whether it was okay or not. Secondly, they added a tip without consulting me either. Based on this, I'm not sure if I would go back despite the food being good
Went here last year and The food was really good. Been meaning to come back. Don't remember having any issues at all
My new favorite ethipian place in bay area. The ambience is very nice and restaurant is quite spacious.
Flava beans entry is delicious along with many other vegetarian options.
The best Ethiopian food in the Bay Area. Period. The service is excellent and the staff is very kind and hospitable. Highly recommended. Do try their Kategna
Fabulous food, wonderful people who don't mind at all taking the time to explain the menu. Very friendly relaxed place. We're going back.
I love this place! I come here regularly with my friends. We always get family style, would recommend it to enhance the experience, if you don't mind sharing your food
The veggie combo and meat combo were absolutely delicious. The Ethiopian coffee and tea were enjoyable as well.
We got the vegetarian combo and the meat combo on one big platter. We were very pleased, the portions were a good size and everything tasted nice. We will probably come back.
While I was on my round road trip adventure from San Diego to San Francisco, me and my friend stopped by ketegna in San Jose and the tibs meal was amazingly flavorful , even when compared to other Ethiopian restaurants in the DMV area.
Wow, the ingera is so delicious
Very bad representation of our Ethiopin well bslanced healthy diet!t
.
Warm, family friendly atmosphere and staff. Delicious food!
