Karl's has been around forever! They made my wedding cake in 1975! I still stop in whenever I get to Everett. They have the best custard filled donuts I've ever had (my absolute favorite), and the raspberry bars are to die for. Sooo yummy!! I've always had good service there, good coffee, killer donuts. The only place I'll ever buy custard filled anymore
I just got a breakfast croissant, a maple bar, and a 20 oz hot chocolate for less than $15!
Located in Downtown Everett WA on Wetmore Ave right next to the Funko store. I have been wanting to try this bakery for a minute. The Lady behind the counter was friendly and nice. What we ordered: 1.) Regular Brownie $2.99 One of my hubbies favorites. 2.) German Chocolate Brownie $2.99 my hubby says is the best match up of German Chocolate Cake and a Brownie 3.) Raspberry filled Donut $2.99 Let me tell you they Do Not skimp on the raspberry filling like most places. Might I suggested a cold glass of milk or a cup of hot tea to accompany these goodies. Their prices are also fair.
Local haunt, right next to the Funko HQ. Fresh donuts, fresh ground coffee, and they had METAL playing in the background. I’d come back based on hearing Ozzy alone, but the customer service and food is amazing as well. I had a bagel with sausage, cheese, and egg and a coffee on drip. Karl, you’re living your best life! Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly
First off I'll say I don't leave reviews unless I feel the need to. And I will say the cake I got from here was amazing. Frosting and filling were spot on light and fluffy. I got the whipped chocolate filling in a vanilla cake with some other whipped icing and it was amazing. I will be going back for my next cake.
Best donuts and pastries in Everett! Better than Henry's Donuts (Their dough is chewier). Great variety, fun decor, and a great place to sit and drink hot cocoa over a freshly warmed-up bacon maple donut or a huge apple fritter. Atmosphere is like a mini cafe with comfy table booths. I know someone who had her wedding cake made here back in the 1980's, too!
We got our wedding cake done here. Sheila - it was awesome, and you were great (and low stress) to work with. (The maple bars are good too.)
Sheila bakes the most delicious cakes, and the guy that runs the front end, Jordan, is a total superstar! Best espresso around, hands down! The rest of their pastries are to die for too! There's nothing that's not delicious for sale there!
This is a 30 year old review of a 1994 wedding cake that Karl's Bakery created for me. I remember the young lady at the time was so nice, helpful and willing to make suggestions. The cake frosting was thick and frosty I recall and. It was a lemon vanilla flavor if I'm correct. It was perfect. It was delivered early too. I'm sure that 30 years later the cakes are just at firm and delicious. Thank you theirs years later.
