Kapnos Taverna

The food is mid grade Mediterranean. My husband and i truly didn’t have complaints considering we needed somewhere to sit for a while before the flight. Two cocktails and 3 menu items ordered were $110 so be prepared to spend a bit. The low star review is geared towards service. We got a waitress who promoted us to use our phones and did not want to take our orders - we sat 20 minutes before being noticed. Lots of screaming going on where we were sitting by service people, management and the kitchen. I get it, airports are loud. This place felt like Linkin Park on steroids. What really set me back, was when the waitress who couldn’t be bothered less by us, rushed to ask me if we needed our check printed while my husband was finishing his cocktail. We saw her for 3 seconds the whole dinner & somehow she felt entitled to a 20%+ tip. This place seems like a sinking ship.

Short-changed on the beer. Our group ordered 20 oz beers which arrived with well an inch and a half missing from the glass, looked like it had been filled with froth and left to collapse. We queried it and the waiter insisted these were 20 oz beers. The glass might have been but the beer certainly wasn’t.

The Caesar salad had iceberg lettuce the martini was 20$ and the pizza was very slow to come out we finished the salad before we got the flat bread too pricey for the food Bartender was very nice

The place seems to be under new management, great service and great food.

Cold potatoes, zero cheese on ham and cheddar omelette. Rude waitress. Dirty restaurant. Eat somewhere else.

Ordered an impossible burger to go and received a burger with bacon. Didn’t notice until on flight unfortunately.

My first time dining at this establishment. The brioche sandwich was good but, the hashbrown tasted off, maybe because of the oil they use. Service was spot on, very attentive and well mannered. Charging ports at some tables which is nice. I will stop again.

$9 gin and tonic Good drink prices for an airport. No clue about their food though

Breakfast was actively gross. Eggs tasted weird. Backn had old flavor. Bread was cheap. I've never left a 1 star review before

Such a shame, I sat down to order something and the associate just tells me to leave :/
