- Reposted-3 @Ashwini Instead of removing this review consider addressing the issue, you have my contact number I wanted to share my recent experience with Ashwini Sawant's coffee consultancy, and I encourage you to take the time to read it. (Evidence of everything mentioned here is available and will share with everyone in the industry to verify) I came across Ashwini's coffee roastery through Google while looking for coffee beans. Excited about starting a cafe in Goa, I reached out to her to purchase some beans. During my visit to the roastery, I mentioned our cafe plans and shared that I recently completed barista training in Thane. She made me believe that I had learned incorrect practices and that we will need to unlearn what was taught and relearn things from her. Ashwini, presenting herself as a certified SCA barista and a judge for coffee competitions, offered consultancy services covering various aspects such as kitchen layout, menu design, barista training, and a year-long assistance package, as advertised on her website. Unfortunately, what was promised and what we received were vastly different. Despite delays and an impractical kitchen plan, we remained patient. (WhatsApp Screen shots showing how much she kept delaying available) We tried to explain what was required however she was unable to comprehend the requirement and asked us to take colour pencils and map how we want the layout done. We realised her kitchen planning is acutally done by the SS Fabricator who will do it for anyone who wants to purchase a commercial kitchen setup however since our order was very small they were not too keen on get it done for us and she was left with no professional help. We tried to explain that planning a kitchen with color pensils is not possibe as the scale won't be acurate and we need it done on a professional software she could'nt wrap her head aroud it. We finally could not wait any longer and realised that she lacks basic sense and decided to remove it from her scope of work. Since she is a SCA certified barista we thought she will be good at the Menu planning and designing and asked her to do that in a timely manner. The menu tasting, however, revealed little deviation from my previous barista training besides she lacks basic frothing and pouring skills. When questioned she said the milk was not chilled enough for her to do the frothing correctly. Regardless of all this we could not understand what I need to unlearn like she stated earlier. In fact she can go to the barista school in Thane and learn a few things herself. This inconsistency led us to doubt the effectiveness of Ashwini's consultancy services and there was no reason for us to pay her the rest of the fees as it was clear that she completely lacks the skills required. Seeking a fair resolution, we requested to decide and deduct a fair price as some cost was incurred in the menu tasting and conversion of the remaining amount into her roasted coffee beans as we still had no issues with her beans and they seem to be a good quality. Despite our attempts, Ashwini failed to respond to multiple emails, and subsequent phone calls were met with excuses and an unprofessional dismissal. Ashwini, your lack of response and unwillingness to address our concerns has left us deeply disappointed. All the options I have given you were absolutely fair and were profitable for your business yet you choose to do this and it’s quite evident that you are far from being any kind of a consultant. Your actions do not align with the ethical and professional standards that are expected from a professional consultant. If you genuinely care about your reputation and the coffee community, I implore you to reflect on your business practices and respond appropriately to customer concerns. (I have call recordings where she had abruptly hung-up on us as well) In conclusion, I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others in the coffee industry. Let's strive for transparency and ethical conduct, ensuring the growth and positive reputation of our community.

The best coffee I have ever had. Espresso tastes like chocolate and roasted almond. Cold coffee also very creamy and yummy. Must order coffee and value for money.
