Kafe Ojala, established in 2019, is a Puerto Rican and Haitian-owned café and coffee roaster located in Trenton, NJ. As a specialty coffee shop, Kafe Ojala is the creation of lifelong friends Alex Rodriguez and Rich Malary, who share a passion for exceptional coffee and a deep commitment to honoring their Caribbean heritage. As a first-generation Puerto Rican American and a first-generation Haitian American, Alex and Rich have infused Kafe Ojala with the richness of their cultural roots. Their global travels and countless visits to unique coffee shops have inspired the soul of Kafe Ojala, blending tradition with innovation to create a truly exceptional coffee experience.
