I have been to this place twice now. The service is so unfriendly even if you speak Spanish to them. It took forever to get a coffee or even attention. The place is really not well taken care of and there are definitely enough alternatives in the city. The food that I had was good, but the service left bitter taste.
Comida para dos. Ambiente agradable, personal correcto. Mesas exiguas, difícil de colocar todo el servicio. Comida muy natural y muy normal. Necesita un poco de inversión en mantenimiento. Relación calidad/precio normal.
Breakfast options are very limited, options in the eggs’ sections are just 2 eggs cooked different ways. We had to eat in another place after. The service was just terrible!! The waiter was very rude, rolling her eyes and acting as she was making us a huge favour bringing our food. Very upsetting experience in general.
This place is sooooo good, I went twice in two days - yes, that good. Why? It's just right up my street (as in, suits me down to the ground). Healthy food (loads of fruit/veg/nuts/seeds/spices), beautifully presented (each plate is a work of art), a well-priced menu del dia with plenty of options, and the most GORGEOUS setting among lovingly-tended plants and succulents. I have no idea how you could give Botanika any less than five stars. The service was occasionally on the slow-ish side but, as the waitress reminded one table, this is not a fast-food joint - (and we could all do with slowing down!). One thing I would change? A bit of clarity when you enter, as there's no obvious reception/welcome/front door (you'll see what I mean when you visit). Otherwise, perfect, ideal location next to the City's main bridge/river, and I'm already planning a return visit - even though I live in Mallorca! PS They also have loads of vegan/g-free/vegetarian options.
