Chef Emilio As a teenager, Emilio spent summers and weekends working at the restaurants of his uncle Juan and Carlos Hernandez, where he found a passion for Tex-Mex food. The menu he created comes from generations of family cooking. From the Hamburger recipe created by his grandmother Chata, which she used to run a street burger stand in Mexico City to support her ten kids, to the Margarita recipe made by his uncle Daniel Hernandez.
